Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of reporting and analytics solutions for enterprise stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building reliable BI environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights. You will play a key role in advancing the organization's reporting capabilities during a period of rapid innovation and modernization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and test dashboards, visualizations, semantic data models, and reports, with a focus on SAP Business Objects development.
  • Create high-level and detailed technical designs, and contribute to process improvements for existing reporting platforms.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Communicate effectively with business partners and technical teams to ensure clarity of issues, solutions, and requirements.
  • Identify and resolve development or data-quality issues through thorough testing and validation of BI assets.
  • Troubleshoot user-reported incidents related to performance, data discrepancies, access issues, and other BI platform concerns.
  • Demonstrate initiative by researching new tools, techniques, and solutions independently.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight delivery timelines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to meet service expectations.
  • Foster positive, productive, and professional communication with key business users.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of BI report development experience using SAP Business Objects 4.2+, including Universe Design (IDT/UDT).
  • 1+ year of SQL development and support experience.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills, including the ability to troubleshoot joins, perform performance tuning, and validate end-to-end data flows.
  • Experience cleaning and integrating data from multiple disparate sources while ensuring consistency and semantic governance.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Snowflake strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau or other BI platforms is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong organization, time management, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $58 - $59 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
