What You’ll Do:

  • Evaluate hearing function by administering and interpreting audiological tests
  • Diagnose type and degree of hearing loss and prepare comprehensive diagnostic reports
  • Provide treatment plans, including hearing aid fittings, assistive devices, and patient education
  • Counsel patients and families on hearing health and device use
  • Maintain audiology equipment and ensure functionality of related software
  • Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.)
  • Current Audiology License in the State of Maine
  • Experience in hearing-aid dispensing, fitting, and counseling for pediatric and adult patients.
  • Strong diagnostic skills, including comprehensive audiologic evaluations and appropriate follow-up care.
  • Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and care partners.
  • Ability to manage the full continuum of hearing care, from assessment to device management and long-term support.
  • Collaborative approach with clinical partners and confidence using EMRs for accurate documentation.
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth.
