Job Description

About Us

At Paryani Construction, we are more than just builders; we are partners. We pride ourselves on a "Client First" approach, delivering complex construction projects with the sophistication of a large firm and the agility and personal attention of a boutique builder. Based in Atlanta, our portfolio spans high-stakes Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial, and Retail projects. We believe in building trust as strongly as we believe in building structures. If you are a leader who acts with integrity, drives results, and values deep client relationships, you belong at Paryani.

Position Summary

The Project Executive (PX) is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall strategic success of multiple projects and client accounts. You will act as the primary liaison between Paryani Construction and our clients, ensuring that project goals, financial targets, and quality standards are met from preconstruction through closeout.

Unlike roles at massive firms where you are just a number, the Project Executive at Paryani is a "Seller-Doer." You will drive business development, mentor future leaders, and maintain P&L responsibility for your business unit. You will be empowered to make decisions that impact the growth of the firm.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Development

  • Client Management: Cultivate and maintain long-lasting relationships with current and prospective clients, architects, and engineers to secure repeat business.
  • New Business: actively participate in the preparation of proposals and interviews for potential projects.
  • Strategy: Assist executive leadership in setting strategic goals for the division and identifying market trends.

Project Execution & Operations

  • Executive Oversight: Provide high-level management for multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from complex renovations to ground-up construction.
  • Preconstruction: Lead the transition from preconstruction to operations, ensuring accurate estimating, scheduling, and logistics planning.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks (contractual, financial, safety) and implement mitigation plans early.
  • Contracts: Lead the negotiation and structuring of owner contracts and major subcontract agreements.
  • Quality & Safety: Enforce Paryani’s safety protocols and quality assurance standards, ensuring a zero-incident culture.

Financial Management

  • P&L Accountability: Manage the aggregate profit and loss for your project portfolio.
  • Forecasting: Review and approve monthly project financial projections, ensuring cash flow remains positive and fees are protected.
  • Change Management: oversee the change order process to ensure fair compensation for out-of-scope work.

Team Development

  • Mentorship: Coach, train, and supervise Project Managers, Assistant PMs, and Superintendents.
  • Culture: Foster a collaborative team environment that mirrors Paryani’s core values of integrity and excellence.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 10–12+ years of construction management experience, with a proven track record of managing projects in Healthcare, Commercial, or Light Industrial sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project (or P6), and Bluebeam. Strong understanding of construction cost accounting.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to command a room during client presentations.
  • Leadership Style: A "servant leader" approach—willing to roll up your sleeves to help the team succeed while maintaining a strategic view.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Atlanta/Southeast subcontracting market and local jurisdictional requirements.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Site Visits: Regularly traverse active construction sites, including climbing ladders, navigating uneven terrain, and using personnel hoists.
  • Office/Travel: Work is a blend of corporate office environment and job site presence. Some travel to regional project sites may be required.
  • Physicality: Must be able to occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds and maintain situational awareness in loud, active construction environments.

Why Paryani?
  • Impact: You aren't just a cog in a machine; your work directly influences the company's direction.
  • Culture: A family-oriented environment that respects work-life balance without sacrificing excellence.
  • Compensation: Competitive executive salary, performance bonuses, vehicle allowance, and comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, etc.)

Paryani Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, or genetic information.
