Job Description

Location: Austin, TX

Type: Full-time, Executive

About PICKLETILE™

PICKLETILE™ is revolutionizing the sport court industry with modern design, engineered glass fencing solutions, and seamless construction experiences. As the Official Court Builder of USA Pickleball, our mission is to set the national standard by delivering more high-quality pickleball and tennis courts than any other company—combining groundbreaking products with efficient, scalable execution.

We’ve built strong momentum through partnerships with local sport court builders and subcontractors, enabling us to deliver projects nationwide. As we scale, disciplined project execution and clear ownership are critical to maintaining quality, speed, and client trust.

The Opportunity

This role goes far beyond a traditional coordinator. We are seeking a Project Manager who will serve as the operational backbone of PICKLETILE projects—owning timelines, communication, and cross-functional coordination from post-sale handoff through installation and closeout.

In the near term, you will take immediate ownership of active projects, acting as the single point of accountability for clients and internal teams alike.

Over time, you will help strengthen and refine PICKLETILE’s project delivery systems so that projects move predictably, issues surface early, and nothing falls between chairs.

This role is critical to unlocking scale by allowing engineering, construction, and leadership to focus on what they do best—without day-to-day coordination friction.

Construction Strategy & Leadership

  • Serve as the operational quarterback for all active projects, ensuring alignment between engineering, drafting, and construction
  • Enforce standardized project workflows, milestones, and handoffs across all projects
  • Support scalable execution by ensuring projects follow defined processes rather than ad hoc problem-solving
  • Provide feedback to leadership on where processes break down and where standards need refinement

Operations & Project Oversight

  • Own the end-to-end project timeline from contract execution through installation and closeout
  • Coordinate all internal handoffs between Engineering, Drafting, Construction, and Ops
  • Track milestones, dependencies, and risks across multiple concurrent projects
  • Drive drawing timelines, revisions, and approvals in coordination with Engineering
  • Coordinate installation scheduling and site readiness with Construction leadership
  • Identify risks early, including schedule drift, site constraints, and scope creep
  • Escalate decisions—not problems—to leadership with clear context and recommendations

People & Partner Leadership

  • Act as the central point of coordination for internal teams and external partners on assigned projects
  • Hold internal teams accountable to agreed timelines and deliverables without direct authority
  • Ensure clients, partners, and internal stakeholders always know project status and next steps
  • Foster a culture of clarity, accountability, and proactive communication across projects

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in project management, operations, or construction-adjacent roles
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning accountability
  • Calm under pressure with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams without direct authority

Why PICKLETILE™

  • Play a critical role in scaling the Official Court Builder of USA Pickleball
  • Clear ownership and accountability within your role
  • Opportunity to help build and refine scalable operating systems
  • High-trust, high-performance culture focused on execution
  • Meaningful impact from day one

Compensation

Competitive salary with performance-based incentives tied to project execution, delivery consistency, and client satisfaction.
