Ready to lead a strong team and take the helm of a growing residential HVAC operation?
Rocket Cooling is looking for an organized, people-focused HVAC Service Manager to oversee our residential team based out of Lehigh Acres. This role covers most of Southwest Florida and is supported by a dedicated Training and Field Quality Manager.

While others are slow, we are busy. We will continue to drive leads hard, but we need a strong team leader who can make sure execution is always on point.

We are  not a high-pressure sales company. Our success comes from well-trained technicians, quality work, and building long-term relationships with customers.

We have worked hard to build back a strong team by weeding out the bad apples. Now we need someone who can keep that momentum going, set the tone, and strike the right balance between accountability and support.

The Role

As the HVAC Service Manager, you will be the frontline leader for our residential technicians in Southwest Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and hold technicians accountable while fostering a positive, team-first culture
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and create action plans to resolve issues effectively
  • Partner with the Training and Field Quality Manager to ensure ongoing technician development and consistent workmanship
  • Monitor performance in ServiceTitan, spot trends, and drive improvements in efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with ownership to align on strategy and maintain standards across the company
  • Continue to build and refine the team so we stay balanced, dependable, and customer-focused
  • Ensure execution is on point so the high volume of leads we generate turns into satisfied customers

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be in the field with techs when needed, solving problems directly with customers, and driving accountability from the front.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in HVAC service or another skilled trade
  • Strong ServiceTitan knowledge and ability to act on KPIs, dashboards, and reporting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly with field customer issues
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to keep operations running smoothly
  • Track record of building, leading, and retaining strong teams
  • A balance of toughness and approachability with the ability to hold people accountable while developing their skills
