Job Title: Insurance Follow-Up Representative

Job Description:

We are seeking detail-oriented and motivated Insurance Follow-Up Representatives to manage claims for worker's compensation services. This role involves working with insurance companies to resolve denied claims, ensure proper reimbursement, and support revenue cycle processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve denied claims from urgent care services.
  • Contact worker's compensation carriers via portals or phone to secure payment.
  • Work from a claims queue, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Collaborate with a small, supportive team to meet departmental goals.
  • Utilize software such as Cerner, DocuTap, and Waystar/Zirmed for claim management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in insurance follow-up, including contacting payors and managing medical collections.
  • Background in physician practices is preferred; urgent care or worker's compensation experience is not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Proactive and eager to learn with a desire to grow professionally.
