Internship Department Details: - Department Name: Advanced Research & Technology
- Business Function: Core R&D
- Team Highlights: Collaborates across R&D, Clinical, and Quality functions to improve device reliability. Engages in hands-on and analytical work to understand in vivo device behavior. Supports development of new technologies through structured investigations and data-driven insights.
Where you come in: - You support device performance investigations by analyzing clinical and pre-clinical study returns and contributing to root cause analysis.
- You assist in planning and executing post-clinical experiments to characterize sensor and device performance.
- You help establish and track metrics for clinical failures across studies and programs to identify trends and critical parameters.
- You collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to support new product development efforts.
What makes you successful: - You bring knowledge of root cause analysis methods and structured problem-solving approaches.
- You are comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Your analytical mindset and exposure to data analysis tools enable you to interpret technical findings effectively.

Travel Required: Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
Experience and Education Requirements: - Requires a completed Bachelor's degree.
- Must be a currently enrolled Master's, JD, or PhD student at an accredited college or university in a STEM discipline with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
Non-Exempt Salary Details: The annualized base salary range for this role is $35.00 to $45.00. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
