Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an IT GIS Systems Engineer for an experienced-level position with a client located in Denver, CO. Candidates must have proficiency in performing IT responsibilities using industry-standard ESRI GIS software and strong platform engineering skills to design, build, deploy, administer, troubleshoot, and optimize a high-performing GIS environment.

Pay Range: $43-65 an hour

IT GIS Systems Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain GIS platforms and ecosystems.
• Monitor GIS environments using ArcMonitor and other tools, ensuring reliability and security.
• Upgrade, maintain, and secure ESRI products and system resources.
• Administer enterprise geodatabases (SDEs) and perform spatial analysis.
• Develop and support ETL operations between GIS applications/databases using FME Desktop or Server.
• Create custom GIS solutions and mobile applications.
• Apply strong analysis, modeling, and integration techniques for spatial data technology.
• Operate enterprise GIS within Azure cloud environments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Deep knowledge of ESRI products: Portal, ArcGIS Server, SDE, GeoEvent Server, Image Server, Field Maps, Survey123, and other mobile apps.
• Experience with ESRI Utility Network, PODS, or UPDM models.
• Programming skills: Python, ESRI JavaScript API, Experience Builder, REST API, SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Oil and Gas industry experience preferred.
