This is a full-time on-site role for a Japanese Translator at Gunze Plastics & Engineering Corporation of America, located in Olathe, KS. Responsibilities include translating documents and communications from Japanese to English and vice versa, providing interpretation services during meetings and discussions, and ensuring linguistic and cultural accuracy. The translator will collaborate closely with team members across departments to facilitate effective communication between English and Japanese-speaking stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Japanese and English, with demonstrated skills in Japanese Translation, Translation, and Japanese to English language ability.
• Excellent oral and written Communication skills in both languages.
• Experience in Interpreting during meetings, presentations, or conversations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure linguistic and cultural accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a dynamic workplace.
• Bachelor's degree in Japanese, Linguistics, Translation Studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in technical or professional translation is a plus.
