Votaw Electric is looking for a journeyman electrician with experience in the installation and service of commercial and industrial electrical systems. This person should be self-motivated and team-oriented with a mindset of continuous improvement.
Job Description
· Layout and installation of commercial and industrial power and lighting systems.
· Installation of switchgear, panelboards, and transformers.
· Installation of fire alarm and lighting control systems.
· Must be able to work on ladders and aerial lifts.
· Communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers and customers.
· Maintain a safe, clean work environment and wear all appropriate PPE.
· Work inside and outside of buildings as needed.
Required Skills
· Five (5) years of commercial or industrial experience.
· Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings.
· Proficiency in conduit bending and installation.
· Experience installing cable with tuggers.
· Knowledge and application of NEC standards.
· Adapt to a fast-paced schedule and work overtime as needed.
