Schedule Shift: Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 8-hour days | 40-hour guarantee

Pay Rate: $58/hour

TITLE: Social Worker (LMSW)

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join a reputable 150-bed hospital serving the greater Shiawassee County area. This is an excellent opportunity for a social worker with OB population experience looking for a well-supported, short-term contract assignment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

Required :

• 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Medical Social Worker
• 1+ year of experience working with OB population
• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Active Michigan LMSW License
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• COVID-19 Vaccination
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide psychosocial assessments and counseling to OB patients and families
• Support patients with discharge planning, care coordination, and community resources
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Address social, emotional, and environmental factors impacting patient care
• Advocate for patient needs and ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with hospital policies
