Process Engineer

1st Shift/ $50-$60k/hr/ Full Time

Monticello, IN

Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a manufacturer that takes millions of pounds of cardboard (anything you would get from amazon, or any corrugated box you get from an online order) breaks down those materials down to its forged fiber & upcycles it into clean, sustainable and high performing materials that are utilized in the construction & furniture industries.

Requirements:

• Accurate and attentive to details
• Curious and driven to understand processes and opportunities for improvement
• Excellent communication, organization, writing, and problem solving
• BS degree in engineering equivalent
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Strong mathematical background with basic understanding of statistics and ability to analyze engineering and scientific data
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

• Analyze new parts with other engineers or sales to come up with an efficient process to produce a particular part.
• Set up jobs for proof of process.
• Trouble shoot existing jobs with operators and supervisors to establish a controlled process to produce difficult parts.
• Work with QC to meet customer’s needs and solve any quality issues.
• Adjust machine processes for improvement. Provide data that supports the proof of improvement.
• Work as an individual or with a team to come up with better and safer ways for processing and converting materials, i.e. machine and machine accessory development.
• Work directly with the customer to understand how to get to the final goal of satisfying their needs
• Help select new materials and manufacturing processes as directed by management
• Review engineering data and compile list of drawings, materials, parts and equipment used for manufacturing products
• Perform tool design to drawing and specifications
