Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work Shift: Night Shift (Full-time, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Specialized Post-Surgical Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures. Focus on pain management, wound care, mobility, prevention of complications, and patient/family education.
• Acute Medical & Telemetry Care: Manage the care of general medical patients and those requiring cardiac monitoring. Perform thorough assessments, administer medications and treatments, and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Relationship-Based Practice: Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity. Partner with patients and families to set recovery goals and ensure they are informed and supported throughout their stay.
• Team Collaboration & Safety: Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team in a unit recognized for excellence (Prism Award). Participate in shared governance and performance improvement initiatives to uphold the highest safety and quality standards.
• Professional Development: Maintain clinical competencies, may serve as a preceptor/mentor, and contribute to a positive, healthy work environment dedicated to staff retention and professional growth.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills; Registered Nurse (RN), Medical-Surgical (MedSurg), Post-Surgical, Telemetry, Acute Care, BLS, Night Shift
• Licensure: Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multi-State Compact RN license.
• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. BSN preferred.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience required. Experience in Post-Surgical, MedSurg, Telemetry, or Acute Care is strongly preferred.
• Skills: Positive energy, enthusiasm for quality care, and strong empathy are required.
• Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and time-management skills.
• Must be able to function decisively in a fast-paced environment and respond calmly to emergencies. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential.
