Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Designer to join the EAI team! This individual needs to have experience in commercial/multi-family design, documentation, construction administration, coordination and furnishings.
This individual will lead design projects from concept through construction administration, and oversee multiple high-end residential and multifamily projects. The ideal candidate will have exceptional design sensibility, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects.
Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- 7+ years of experience in interior design, must have experience in multifamily.
- Proven experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
- Expertise in construction documentation and administration
- Proficiency in software such as but not limited to: Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365
- Deep knowledge of applicable local building codes, finishes, lighting, plumbing, hardware, furniture, and sourcing vendors
- Ability to mentor, guide, and review work for Project Designers and other team members
- Strong client-facing skills with professional, positive communication
- Solid understanding of the complete design process, design principles, color theory, and material selection
- Ability to perform thorough quality control on all project deliverables
- Ability to anticipate project needs, take initiative, and problem-solve independently
- Willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings, and installations

Compensation Package:

Schedule:
- Full-time, 8 .5- hour shift
- Remote/Half Day on Fridays
- Work From Home Flex Hours
Work Location:
- Austin, TX 78746 (in-person) with work from home flex hours
Ability to Relocate:
- Must be able to relocate to Austin, TX prior to start date (if not local)
