Pride Health is hiring a Surgical Tech to support our client’s medical facility in Columbus, OH . This is a 13-week assignment (with the Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great opportunity to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

Location: Columbus, OH 43210

Shift: Day | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 08:30 AM – 09:00 PM

Contract Length: 13 weeks (91 days)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Start Date: 11/17/2025

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join the Operating Room team at a Level I Trauma Center . This role involves supporting high-acuity surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including neurosurgery, spine, complex ortho, and bariatrics . Candidates must be comfortable with on-call responsibilities and weekend coverage as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures including neurosurgery, spine, orthopedic trauma, and complex general surgeries
• Maintain aseptic technique and manage OR instrumentation and equipment
• Support emergency and trauma procedures in a fast-paced Level I Trauma environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, and surgical teams for optimal patient care
• Handle surgical specimens, instruments, and documentation

Requirements:

• Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of OR Surgical Tech experience
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Experience in neurosurgery, ortho spine, complex ortho, and bariatrics
• Preferred: ENT, GU, plastics, burns, transplant
• Certifications:
• BLS required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Skills:
• Proficiency with Da Vinci robotic systems
• Craniotomy, laminectomy, spinal fusion
• Bariatric (gastric bypass/sleeve), transplant, and trauma cases
• High-level disinfection, instrumentation, case carts, and specimen handling

Additional Information:

• Call and weekend shifts required
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after booking
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• Education must be from an accredited program
