Boeing Test and Evaluation is searching for an Experimental Test Pilot to take the role of **Chief Pilot, T-7** and join our team in **Berkeley, MO or Edwards AFB, CA** . In this role you will lead a team of highly talented test pilots in support of T-7A flight test and production in multiple locations. **Position Responsibilities:** + Operates aircraft and manages test pilots and first-level managers performing aircrew duties, including activities to prepare for and conduct safe test flight operations; applies crew resource management principles to the operation of aircraft + Performs and manages activities to plan, conduct and evaluate ground and test flights + Leads aircrew activities to support design efforts + Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives + Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements + Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports + Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes + Manages, develops, trains and evaluates test pilots and first-level managers + Job requires FAA ATP or Commercial certificate with the appropriate endorsements **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + 5+ years of experience supporting a military flight test program + 10+ years of experience in military tactical aviation + Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements + Current FAA Class II medical certificate or must have the ability to obtain one + Ability to pass the U.S. Air Force water survival and physiology training + Test Pilot School (TPS) Graduate **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + 3+ years of experience in aircraft production operations + Current and qualified in the T-7A or similar tactical training aircraft **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. **Shift:** This position is primarily for 1st shift; however, alternate and/or weekend shifts may be required to meet support program objectives. **Travel:** This position will require travel up to 25%. **Pilot Records Database:** All pilots will be screened through the current pilot records database process. **Pay & Benefits:** At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
