sr. Technical Program Manager – Houston, TX (Remote Eligible)

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid or 100% Remote from surrounding states)

Travel: Occasional travel to Houston for special meetings

Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Data Digital team , leading digital transformation initiatives and driving collaboration between engineering and product teams. This role focuses on managing complex system migrations, developing program management best practices, and delivering strategic initiatives that create measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Technical Program Managers.
  • Develop and implement standards and best practices for technical program management.
  • Plan, track, and deliver programs involving data engineering, AI/ML, analytics, and cloud migration.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Data Management teams to define and achieve OKRs.
  • Manage program scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies .
  • Support RFP and vendor management activities, including SOW reviews and evaluations.
  • Communicate program status and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement and agile maturity across teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, technology program management, and program implementation
  • 3+ years managing complex digital or cloud transformation programs
  • Experience in data engineering, AI/ML, or data analytics programs
  • Proven leadership experience managing TPM or PMO teams
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall delivery models
  • Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS or Azure Cloud Certification
  • Agile/Scrum Certification
  • Experience with system migrations and enterprise cloud environments
